The French Dart Dress pattern from Maven is such a classic design. I think this is a wonderful project for beginner sewists that should only take a few hours. And if you've been scared of zippers, have no fear, this pattern has none! The pattern does have three different sleeve options. This is the cap sleeve option, but comes with a long sleeve option and a short sleeve option. This is my third time using it and this time in a beautiful herringbone wool I picked up from Mood (here's a similar one in another color!) The fabric has colorful flecks that makes it a little bit more fun yet still super easy to style. This wool has a lovely stretch to it so you can totally wear it to work all day, look profession but stay comfortable. I liked styling it with this yellow mockneck adding to the retroness of it but with the chunky knee boots it stays young and modern. I added the belt and black purse to complete the look.
